The Garden

This is the 1st time that I have ever planted a garden. It was been a big learning experience and also a big job. We have planted strawberries, beats, radish, carrots, pumpkins, peas, cucumbers, onions, dill, tomatoes, peppers, beans and corn. It took a lot of time to clear the area where we were going to plant. When we tilled the garden area there were so many rocks it was like tilling in a gravel bed and we actually broke the blades off of the tiller that we rented. We removed two truck loads of rocks and it still feels like they are growing in the garden. We also had to pull up all the tomatoes because they died from a virus and they looked sad but don't worry I planted more tomatoes in pots in the front yard cuz everyone needs to have tomatoes(Except for Curtis HE HATES THEM WITH A PASSION).

This picture you can't see all the plants that well but they are there, slowly growing and getting bigger. Here is the row of peppers.

We already have some peppers and strawberries growing. Not to much longer before everything else is producing veggies.

Fishing

Today we went fishing down to st george to Sand Hollow Res. It snowed four inches in cedar at our house yesterday, so we were a bit sceptical about the weather but when we got down to the lake it was clear blue sky and perfect weather for fishing minus it being just a little bit on the chilli and the windy side from time to time but we had a great time and curtis caught some pretty big fish while me and tido enjoyed ourselves and soaked up the sun.
This is a picture of curtis with a monster sand hollow large mouth
bass it weighed a whopping 7.8 pounds and is the biggest fish he has ever caught

This is a picture of Curtis and Blaine his friend. They are showing off the big fish of the day that each of them caught in the end of the day photo shoot from left to right we have a 7.8 lb fish, a 5.2 pound fisha 5.59 pound fish and a 6.34 pound fish. Boy are they proud!!!!

I think that the big fish could have eaten tido for a mid day
snack. In fact the fish weighed more than tido does and just to
show you we took a side by side profile to show you just how huge
this fish really was. Tido was scared of this monster.

Here is how we spend most of our time fishing. Britney and Tido
in the chair relaxing and if a fish bites we will catch it. Curtis is
in the front of the boat running the trolling motor and taking
his fishing seriously. NOTE dont forget where your line is or
he will get really honery and start yelling at you to keep your
line out of the trolling motor and he is not nice about it either!!!!

Here we are one happy family with a big MONSTER FISH!!!!!

It is amazing how long these last two years have been, and in the same breath how short the last two years have been. It has been an amazing journey and so for our aniversary we decided to go back to the place where it all began. The Manti Temple. ISN'T IT BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

Bye, Bye Concrete

So as you all can tell we have be cleaning up the yard. There was a lot of concrete that had to be ripped out of the ground and then taken somewhere. Luckily for us the City of Cedar does a yearly clean up and you can put everything in the street and they will come and pick up a 10 wheel dump truck load for free. We really tried our best to make sure we filled that dump truck to its fullest.

Timber!!!

These lasts 2 weeks we have been cleaning up the yard and part of that was cutting down a big monster old tree that was only a couple of feet off from the back of the house. We cut it down because it was starting to hang over the house and we are also thinking about adding on to the house a Garage with a Mudroom and it would be in the way, so bye bye it went. It was a lot of work to get it cut down without hitting the house and it was even more work to clean the yard up after the tree was down.

We would like to Thank Sheldon Roundy (DAD) for all his work in helping us cut the Tree down and We really need to Thank Tracy Roundy (MOM) for taking extra care of Tido and hanging out in the House so that we really had a reason for not leting the tree fall on the house.

Wii

So we had Sunday dinner at our house a few weeks ago and after dinner we had a little family fun playing the Wii. It was the first time that Dad (Bill) had played the wii. He got really into it and so did everyone else. The only one that sat it out was William but he enjoyed watching the rest of us. We love having people over to play Wii, I think that we only play the Wii when other people are over at the house. Here are some of the pictures of the family having fun.
