Berkley Elizabeth Roundy

Today Curtis is Proud to say that he is a father to a little Girl. He just wants everyone to know that it is okay to say you are wrong and he is right about it being a Girl. For you that don't know, Curtis has been calling this baby a Girl (Berkley) since we found out we where pregnant. We never where even aloud to talk about Boy Names. All our family and friends told him that he turned it into a boy. That there was no way we where having a girl now but Curtis just wants everyone to know that it is a Girl. Curtis wants to thank the few people that supported him during these last few weeks about it being a girl.

This is the 3D ultrasound picture we where able to get.

Here is the picture that showed that it is Berkley.

During the ultrasound we watch Berkley jump up and down on my bladder and she also stuck her tongue out at us a couple of times. She never could sit still for very long and the sad thing is that I really can't feel her move yet. I watched her move everywhere on the ultrasound but still couldn't feel her move. I know it is only a matter of time.

We are super excited to finally know what we are having. It makes it easier to go shopping and to start planning for Berkley's arrival.

Last Chance to Vote

Tomorrow is the ultrasound to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. So last chance to put your vote in. Curtis would really like some support that it is a girl. So look back tomorrow to find out what we are having. We are getting way excited.

2010 Fishing Tournaments off to a good start

This year I (Curtis) am fishing American Bass Association tournament series. I fish with Lance Goulding. We started the year off with a bang. In our first tournament of the year we took second place. We had a lot of fun and caught a lot of fish. Our fish total for the day was around 100 fish between the two of us. We also caught some really big fish. The second cast of the day I hooked into a 4.5 pound Largemouth Bass. Then about an hour later lance caught a 3.5 lb fish. We knew that we needed to upgrade these fish to a size or two bigger to have a chance at winning. We had jokingly told each other a few times that it was the other persons turn to catch an upgrade, it was at one of these challenges that lance hooked a fish and it was looking like a big fish. We didn't see it until it was at the surface and ready to be netted. It was an absolute monster fish. It ended up being the big fish of the tournament. Then about ten minutes later lance called the same call out for an upgrade and sure enough I hooked into another big fish. It ended up being the fourth big fish of the tournament. We were sitting pretty good at this point. The big fish is a 7.03lb fish and the smaller but still really big fish is a 5.49lb fish. We were way excited and when we ended the tournament we ended up being in 2nd place out of 13 teams, with only three out of a possible of 5 fish because of the lake regulations. It was a lot of fun and we ended up winning 880 dollars that we split between the two of us.
In our sec0nd tournament it was bad weather and we got rained on for about four hours but we fished hard and at the end of the day we ended up 6th place out of 33 teams. We didn't get any pictures of the fish that we weighed at this tournament, because of the weather we just got the fish weighed and got out of the water where we could get dry and warm up. But we didn't catch anything quite as good as in the first tournament our best fish was 4.30lb's. We won 330 dollars on this tournament that we split between the two of us. We had a lot of fun even though the weather was not very good.
Keep checking back for more info on the next tournaments of the year. Hopefully we can keep up the winnings

Warmer Weather

This weekend, me and my parents traveled down to Yuma to visit my sister and family. We played all weekend and on Saturday we went to Saige's Soccer Game. She did a great job.

Saige had the best cheering crew during the game. Jen bought us all t-shirts with her name on the back. We wore them to lunch, the game and then out for Ice Cream after.

One of the best parts about the weekend was that there was no snow at all. The weather was in the 80's every day. I tried to work on my tan but didn't have enough time.

Grandpa and Garrett really became best friends this weekend. Garrett knows who will spoil him and who makes him go to bed.

Updates

I know that it has been a long time since i have blog and I am sorry for that but I am going to catch you all up with the Big Stuff. We had a great Christmas in Cedar with my parents, everyone was able to make it so we had a blast. Curtis got a break from School and don't worry he was able to get out and go fishing. This is a Trout that he was able to catch Ice Fishing. He is really proud of this picture.
We also had a Pinewood Derby contest in our University Ward. It was family against each other. Ours wasn't the fastest but we really had a fun time making it. Ours is the Brown one 2nd over from the Left.

I have to show you a Picture of the Deer that I killed this year. I am really proud of this Deer because Kyle and I found it and killed it without any help. Curtis was really proud. He didn't think we would find a deer, let alone Kill one. I will never forget this deer because after we killed it and stood over it admiring its majesty and huge antlers, we then looked at each other and said do you know how to gut a deer because i don't!!!!! So we both had our first lesson on how to gut a deer together with the help of Randy over the phone. It only took about 70 mins.

Saige Really liked the deer horns. She showed me where they belong on a Deer. I love this Picture.
I know that here are many pictures of the house that we need to update also. We are slowly getting everything back together and we are also getting ready to gut and redo the downstairs Bathroom. I will be happy when that project gets all done. So I promise not to take this long to Blog again.
